LMS - Libero Management System

LMS is an Asterisk management GUI, designed for the not-so-novice Asterisk system administrator in mind. What you will not get:

• Fancy wizards to configure rules, routes, blah..
• Fluff and unnecessary dialplan macros/functions/blah that you will, most likely, never use

As LMS is geared to admins with some Asterisk configuration experience in mind, you need to know (or at least roughly know) what you're doing. Things you should at the very least have under your belt:

• Zaptel, IAX and SIP channel configuration basics and concepts
• Dialplans, and how to use them
• Voicemail contexts and mailboxes

LMS does provide some handholding, by providing meanings to cryptic configuration file settings. For instance, if you don't remember what an LBO value of 2 means in zaptel.conf, LMS provides for you with a human-readable form of what it means.

To sum it up: LMS is for the Asterisk admin who wants a web-based interface to configure and maintain their system, yet at the same time yearns to escape from the restrictive confines of Trixbox- and FreePBX-type GUIs.
